About the show

Education’s future needs more than one side of the story.

Old School, New School, Next School is a weekly conversation about what helps children become informed, capable and independent thinkers.

01

Old School

The durable ideas worth preserving: knowledge, discipline, reading, history, civics, capable teachers and engaged parents.

02

New School

The systems and assumptions that deserve examination—from classroom practices and school governance to technology and culture.

03

Next School

The choices, innovations and public commitments required to prepare children for a world changing faster than its institutions.

A wider mission

School choice is part of the answer. The real question is larger.

The show began with parental rights and the right of families to seek the best education for their children. That issue remains central—but education does not begin or end with where a child attends school.

Dom examines the forces surrounding learning: screen time, social media, educational standards, history, civics, teachers, unions, political leadership and the expectations adults place on children.

The goal is direct: identify what works, challenge what does not and help America become smarter about raising the next generation.

“Make America smart again.”

Dom Giordano’s challenge to parents, educators, policymakers and anyone who expects a functioning democracy.
